Locating sentry alarm systems with voice messaging
Is your home going to be empty for days or weeks while you go on a holiday? That is when it usually is susceptible to housebreaks. Here is a bunch of things you can do.
* The top way to secure your home is to have a someone occupying the house. An apartment where someone is staying is commonly safer than a home or apartment that is unoccupied. Try getting a friend or someone you trust to remain at your home while you are go away.

* If you maintain potted plants that are visible from the road have them maintained by someone. Or Else ensure the potted plants are not visible from outside. Plants wilting slowly are evidence that the house is not occupied.
* Use timers to operate lights and tv. Timers should be hooked to lights in multiple rooms. The lights should turn on an off in a natural manner. The timer should turn living room lights on at sundown. At the time you turn in the living room lights should go off and switch on the bedroom lights.
If you turn tv on at 7 most days and have it on all evening till bedtime have the timer set accordingly. The lights may be on but the absence of the tv's light shining through may lead to suspiscion that the apartment or home is empty.
* Arrange for a neighbor to drop in to your home frequently. Windows and curtains being opened gives evidence that the home is occupied.
* If you rent the apartment or house you might notify the owner that you are going out of town. The houseowner may want to check up on the home sometimes.
* If you use a burglar alarm system make it a point to see that the house sitter recognizes how to make it run.
* See that the neighbor knows how to contact you. The person keeping an eye on the house should know who they should notify should any problems come up.
