Understanding hiding security cameras around home
Is your home going to be empty for a few days or weeks while you leave town? That is the time your apartment or home is vulnerable to looters. Here are several specific things you should consider doing.
* The most effective defense is to have a someone occupying the house. An apartment where someone is staying is normally safer than a house that is empty. Make arrangements for a friend or relative to remain at your apartment while you are go away.
* Temporarily stop newspaper and mail delivery when you travel out of town. Untouched mail and newspaper lets everyone know that no one is home.
* If you maintain potted plants or a garden have them watered by someone. Alternatively shift the potted plants where no one can see them. Wilted plants are evidence that nobody is home.

If you commonly switch on tv at 9 and it is always on till you go to bed the timer must follow those timings. The living room light may be on but the lack of the tv's bluish glow can indicate that no one is really home.
* Arrange for a neighbor to visit your apartment now and then. Windows and curtains being worked convey that the house is occupied.
* If you rent the home you may want to let your landlord know that you are going away for a few days. The houseowner may want to keep tabs on the home.
* If you use a home security system see that the home sitter recognises exactly how to run it.
* Make certain that the caretaker or house sitter can contact you. Whoever is keeping tabs on the home should be informed about who is to be informed should any issues come up.
