* If you rent a home or apartment perhaps you can let the owner or landlord know that the home will be unoccupied. The homeowner may want to check on the home now and then.
* If you have a home security system installed make certain that the apartment sitter is aware of just how to use it.
* Make sure you leave your contact details with the neighbor. The person checking up on the apartment must be aware of who they should notify should any issue crop up.
