* If you live on rent you might notify the owner that the house will be empty. Your houseowner may want to keep tabs on the home.
* If you use a home security system make sure the apartment sitter recognizes how to handle it.
* See to it that the neighbor can reach you easily. Whoever is keeping tabs on the apartment should be aware of who they should intimate should a problem arise.
